Through the magic of Facebook, not only do I now write on a regular basis, I’ve ‘ met ‘ two dear friends : Nancy & Simon. Simon being the one who compiles the submitted stories as well as ‘ assigns ‘ the next stories parameters. Ie .. the brains behind the operation. Who I like to refer to as no less than ‘ Our Fearless Leader.’ Nancy being no less than ‘ The Toppermost of the Poppermost.’ Meaning : she’s just a natural born story teller whose writing is as naturally flowing as would be a conversation with a dear friend. I encourage anyone who has an interest in writing to join our little group : there is no fee of any sort attached to same – just some like-minded people who enjoy a Good Story – either the reading of .. or writing of .. same.
Write Away is such a fun, engaging and challenging writing group. What started out as a lark for me in 2017 immediately became an engrossing hobby. It is now my passion! I’ve built up my WordPress website with many stories which I contribute to Write Away. I’m proud of every one of them and look forward to each new challenge. Thank you, Simon, for creating such a wonderful group and making it available to all serious-minded and dedicated writers. 🌟 💻
Thank you, Nancy, indeed it is, and writing to that fortnightly deadline and to the word limits is a great discipline that’s resulted in hundreds of stories for our sites for you and me both! And now the collections are going to be posted here, contributors can expect a wider audience for their work. And that means poems, essays, articles … whatever, as well as stories!
