Go round the circle, getting everyone in turn to say why they wanted to learn the guitar and what they hoped to achieve. This was a bit different though. Solutions For Writers: Practical Craft Techniques For Fiction And Non FictionSolutions For Writers: Practical Craft Techniques For Fiction And Non Fiction by Sol Stein
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

In my humble opinion, THE ‘go to’ book for general writing advice, whether fiction or non-fiction. Sol has worked with the best in the business and selflessly passes on his hard-earned recommendations. A great jumping-off point for more detailed advice covered elsewhere but complete in itself. I have the print edition, the kindle edition and the audiobook. Each catch one’s attention and inform/enthuse in a different way.

That Feel Good FactorThat Feel Good Factor by Jane Muir
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A woman’s struggle for fitness, love, and reconcilliation.
…
The storyline is quite grim at times, but there are moments of real humour, one being at Ellie’s first swimming session that had me laughing out loud!

Striving towards a seemingly impossible goal, surviving all that life throws at you, and reconciliation are prominent themes, and the story is very inspiring. Recommended!
